I want to fall in love with you
I want to go . . .
An eye upon the soul doth see
Much to which
Could never be
Such as love
Between a mortal
And an angel
(Between you and me)
Worlds apart
I sit within mine darkness
Seeing every tear
You allow to fall
Feeling every twinge of pain
You could not hide
And loving you even more
I don't think
I could ever fathom
(Or would try to)
Our worlds together
Or apart
And so within this existence
Of e-mails sent
And phone calls heard
We have existed
We will survive
I darest not talk
Or utter a word
Whilst apart we stand
For our togetherness
Hath the power
To unite in dream
What we could never see
I want to fall in love with you
I want to see your world
I want to feel your pain
To see and share your thoughts
(As if they are my own)
I want . . .
Just to see you now
I would take away my heart
Take it back from you
And thrust it forth
Into my world of darkness
(Take it back unto myself)
Just so you would have to come and get it
Just to see if this is truly love
Or merely and illusion(infatuation) played by our lonely hearts
And of this I would ask you
When upon our faces meet
What is this love
Which makes you crazy
Which holds you close
Though you are so far away
What is this love
This sensation
Which leaves us in a pain
That only each other's arms could cure
What is this blaze
Which only you in my arms
Could ever extinguish
What is this love . . .
I want to fall in love with you
I want you to know my life
My woes
I want to fall in love with you
And share all that our worlds possess
And more . . .
