I stop by from time to time just to see the fantasy
It doesn't matter to you I know but beyond my wildest dreams it matters to me
Outside my mocking smile and wit I'm just as awkward as a little school boy
However those years are long since gone but not the memory of being used like a toy
So I stop by to bear witness to what I think should be anyone's dream
I just don't see the outer beauty I see the brightness of you and would love to be in your gleam
No matter how much I pride myself on being a wordsmith I don't think I'll find the words that are right
The ones that will help me stand out in the crowd, bring me to the front of the line, in your line of sight
I know love very well because it haunts me and teases me with what could be
I know I can share a powerful love no story book but reality, just want to find that someone for me
You know I come by your page from time to wish you well and let you know how special you are
The distance doesn't make me apprehensive I'd cross any gap to make you happy no matter how far
So just go ahead and say what you feel you've got nothing to lose
However the risk of no contact with you at all isĀ dissappointment I'm not ready to choose
The greater the risk the greater the reward is what brings me here
The risk that you'll not only read but hear my words and know how I long to call you dear
I hope you know how often I stop by just to say hello
With great sincerity not a stalker or a troll just to witness the fantasy then go
As a matter of fact it could become quite habit form but I know that's not the thing to do
What I do know is that I long for you.
