Your story:
When you were 8 years old, your dad handed
you an
ice cream. You thanked him by yelling at him and
telling him
its the wrong
kind
When you were 9 years old, he paid for
piano
lessons. You thanked him by never even
bothering to practice.
When you were 10 years old he drove
you all
day,
from soccer to football to one birthday
party
after another. You thanked him by
jumping out of
the car and never looking back.
When you were 11 years old, he took you
and
your friends to the movies. You thanked
him by asking to sit in a different row.
When you were 12 years old, he warned
you not
to watch certain TV shows. You thanked
him by
waiting until he left the house.
When you were 13, he suggested a
haircut that
was becoming. You thanked him by telling
him he
had no taste.
When you were 14, he paid for a month
away at
summer camp. You thanked him by
not
writing a single letter.
When you were 15, he came home from
work,
looking for a hug. You thanked him by
having your
bedroom door locked.
When you were 16, he taught you how to
drive
his
car. You thanked him by taking it every
chance you
could.
When you were 17, he was expecting an
important call. You thanked him by being
on the
phone all night.
When you were 18, he cried at your high
school
graduation. You thanked him by staying
out
partying until dawn.
When you were 19, he paid for your
college
tuition, drove you to campus carried your
bags.
You thanked him by saying good-bye
outside the
dorm so you wouldn't be embarrassed in
front of
your friends.
When you were 25, he paid for
your
wedding, and he cried and told you how
deeply
he loved you. You thanked him by
moving halfway
across the country.
When you were 50, he fell and
needed you to
take care of him. You thanked him by
reading about
the burden parents become to their
children.
And then, one day, he quietly died. And
everything you never did came crashing
down like
thunder on YOUR HEART.
If you love your DAD, repost this bulletin saying "i cried"
if you don't... then u obviosly don't care if your DAD dies
My story:
when I was 7, my mother entered me into Little Miss America, I got second place and when all the little girls had to go up with their fathers I went alone!
when I was 8, my mother put me into a cathlic school and came to all my concerts, when it came to be parent teacher night I came with just my mom and all the other kids laughed.
When I was 9, I was the main charactor in the school play and when the night came that all our parents where there I only had my mom, and an empty seat beside her.
when I was 10, I got kicked out of the school because I my mother is a single parent and when mom was at work and they called for my dad to pick me up, I had to walk home by my self.
when I was 11, I was failing math and the teacher wanted to meet my parents only my mother came and I was picked on by the other kids again.
when I was 12, I was put into home schooling, but when mom had to go away on business I had no one to watch me, because my father wasn't there.
when I was 13, I got my first job, my mother had a party for me and all my friends where there, but I was laughed at because I dont have a father.
when I was 14, I had my first Solo in front of tons of people but the friont row was saved for the parents, only my mother was there and an empty seat beside her again.
when I was 15, I moved to a new town with new kids, It was my freshmen year and all parents where to come to the school and meet the other parents. Again only my mother was there, no father and a bad start with the other kids.
when I was 16, I was learing how to drive and all the safety precausions, my mother was the only one to go to the meeting for the parents and again I was picked on.
when I was 17, It was my junior year, and my junior prom! But my mother was the only parent of mine that came!
Know I'm going to be 18, and I know that my mother will be the only parent there!
And when I get married, I will not have any one to bring me down and give me away!
Thanks dad, for all the hurt and trouble I have gone through, although I have learned many things from mother I still long for the Daughter-Father relationship that I will and have never had!
