Okay, I just recently got engaged. I'm with a beautiful woman, and we're getting married next October (Well technically, we're just expressing our love in front of a group of people. It's illegal to get married to the same sex in Kentucky)
Anywho, we've not argued on anything about this wedding so far, except for one thing. Inviting her ex. Now mind you, her ex is remarried and everything, but she refuses to leave us alone. Her and her ex are still "best friends". They talk on the phone constantly, and if I ask anything about it, it's "Oh we just talked about nothing really" and I know that's not true. When they text each other, I'm not allowed near her phone before she erases her messages. I know because she goes through deleting shit in front of me. Anyhow back to the reason I created this mumm. My fiance wants to invite her ex to the wedding. I don't want her there. She doesn't understand why. I can tolerate her to a point, but she gets overwhelming. She has made it a point to put herself in the wedding, without anyone telling her it was okay.(She told me that she was my maid of honor, and I reserved that spot for my mother) She just gets on my nerves. I really don't want her there, although it would mean a lot to my girlfriend if she was there. Help? |
