I'm very worried about one of my best friends.
He wants to be a video game designer, and I'm all for that, but he won't go to college, or even look for a job. He keeps saying that he's going to do it freelance style, but from all the information I've looked up on it, you need to have schooling to do it, freelance or otherwise.
Now he won't even come home and spends all his time playing video games with friends. His mother is worried about him, I'm worried about him, and even my mum is worried about him. He won't even listen to the people he used to ask for advice. I don't want our friend ship to go down the drain, but if he doesn't make an effort, how can I, because I can't even talk to him other than through My Space.
So, my question is, do I just let him go on a downward spiral in life, or do I try and talk to him into getting the education he's going to need for his desired field in life, or at least get a job so he's not mooching off other people? |
