Yes, it's the beginning of my favorite holiday. Thanksgiving! Woo hoo. Also referred to by my loving husband as the only day of the year "she likes to cook". Heh.
Pumpkin pies are in the oven as we speak and soon, I'll start chopping up vegetables for the veggie tray, stuffing and turkey soup.
I love to cook, I just love to cook big meals and spend all day making something wonderful. Everyday meals bore me I guess.
We're having turkey, baked yams, pumpkin pie, peas & corn, turkey gravy (from scratch) and cranberry sauce. Oh and stuffing! For some reason, we decided to forgo the mashed taters this year. We'll see how that goes!
