My name is Amber. I am eighteen years old, and in eighteen years I have lived in eighteen different houses. I am a bookworm, and an avid watcher of all Disney movies. I am a hopeless romantic, and I think fairytales can come true, as long as you believe. I have seen two shooting stars that I can remember, but so far neither of my wishes have come true. I love history and mythology, and if I could be anyone in the world I would be Belle from Beauty and the Beast ('cause she rocks). I have a black-and-white kitten named Duck, and I would have a dog if I was allowed. Oh, and for the record, I do believe in faeries!

Interests
My interests are singing (especially opera), writing, walking in the rain, swimming, reading (a lot), and writing some more. I like to write anything - poetry, song lyrics, short stories, plays. I'll read anything, but I especially love the classics - anything by Alexander Dumas, or Charles Dickens - and I love love stories. Love is usually what I write about, mostly because I keep looking for it (I'll find it one of these days, damn it). So I guess you could say love is one of my interests (in theory, anyway).
Music
I will listen to almost everything with a good beat. I love Elvis like you wouldn't believe, and I think some of the best music is classical and opera. My favorite is the Phantom of the Opera, and I'm glad I've finally gotten to see it live. Lately I'm into Pagan-friendly bands like Inkubus Sukkubus and Avalon Rising. I also like Evanescence, Nightwish, The Fray, The Killers, Nickelback, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw, Coldplay, Alanis Morisette, James Blunt, Sarah McLachlan, Savage Garden, Gavin DeGraw, Celine Dion, and the music from the musicals Rent and Wicked. Umm...I guess that's all there is to say about music, except that if I could, I'd make sure life came with its own theme songs. How cool would that be?
Movies
I love romance, comedies, romantic comedies, and war movies. I hate movies based on books, because they are always screwed up. Some of my favorite movies are The Phantom of the Opera, Labyrinth, Legend, The Man Who Fell to Earth, Titanic, Braveheart, Beauty and the Beast (yes, the Disney version), Edward Scissorhands, Nightmare Before Christmas, Dear Frankie, Tristan and Isolde, Ever After, The Libertine, and Deeply.
Idols
I think the only idol I really have is my father, because he has done so much for my siblings and I. We owe so much to him.
