I wrote this poem for all of my new friends I meet on the internet,

New friend
A new friend is like two flowers sprouting beside one another, you stand silent and watch the other at first, only studying it's movements,
and it's likes and dislikes, you watch as it sways in the wind, how it handles the storms, and if it dances in the warmth of the sun, then you brave introducing yourself to one another.
In time you grow a mutual trust for one another helping one another grow, and flourish using love, laughter, and compassion as the soil, sunlight, and water feeding one another daily,
In time you watch as your friendship blossoms into a unique and everlasting friendship known only to you both!
You find it beautiful, graceful, and comfortable.
Thank you for being a new friend,
I look forward to growing with you, weathering the storms together and
dancing with you in the sunlight!
