| I will try to make a long story short and it is a second part to one done over a year ago. 16 months ago 3 women stole furniture and burned down my house in AZ. At the time I had just taken a job in Or. So everything I owned was still in AZ. They were caught and plead guilty to 3 felony counts. Of course with our justice system they plead down and only ended up getting 104 days in jail. Last month the judge ruled on restitution which ended up being a slap in the face. I have lost everything I have ever owned had to make 8 trips to AZ, missed 25 days of work and have spent tens of thousands of dollars. Last week the judge dedided to resend the order of restitution and I am not to get a dime. Since it has cost me so much and the justice system has repeatedly let me down should I attempt to take this to a civil court and pay even more money not knowing if justice will ever be served on these women????? |
