I tend to travel often and work long hours which means that I do not have the time to get to know too many people. I would love to meet people to go out with, drink with, laugh with etc. I am not originally from this country and therefore cannot rely on school or college friends to keep me busy. I enjoy most activities and am willing to learn new things and widen my horizons and experience.
I am comfortable with myself, financially secure, independant, well travelled & can hold my own in most discussions, (I couldn't debate the theory of relativity, but you get my drift).
Some History:
I am a British National and was brought up with many brothers and no sisters. This does not mean that I understand men any better than the next woman, believe me, it doesn't work that way. I am from a farming background and I still love the countryside. But it isn't the idyllic lifestyle most "city types" often think it is. It is very hard work.
I also love biking, as in motor cycles. I owned one in the UK, but have not had the courage to go out and buy one here in the States ... yet. It's all about intuitive riding and the driving on the "wrong side of the road" thing is not always intuitive. In a car that's not too bad, but on a Bike it could be lethal !!
