I decided I'd share the recipe for my Faery Ring Tea. It does have Hallucinates in it.. and technically is illegal if you make it as I do!!!
Before you even attempt to gather or collect the mushroom ingredient in this make sure YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE GATHERING. It is best to have a well experienced gatherer with you when collecting the mushrooms. DO NOT GATHER RANDOM MUSHROOMS AND THINK THEY ARE ALL SAFE! I've been making this very tea for years and years and I still check double check recheck and check again what I am using for this. I hold NO liability for sharing this recipe with you.
There are MANY MANY MANY "Psilo" mushrooms in the world and almost all of them have DEADLY twins.
Some of the best wild mushroom guides are -

You DO NOT have to use "psilo" mushrooms for this tea.. I just do, well frankly because I can :P
Also when using herbs of any magical reference make sure you know what exactly you are using the amount you should use that they are consumable.. etc.
Please note- I have never used actual measurements, I tend to do everything by feel as any magical tea or otherwise should be, never be afraid to go with your instincts!
You will need:
Elder Flower, Blackberry Leaf, Rasberry Leaf, Bee Pollen, Orris Root, Fresh mint leaf (if possible you can buy usually at most grocery stores), Honey, Sugar (if wanted for an extra sweetness,
Jasmine Flower and 1 star anise.
First I usually collect or gather about 1/3lb. mushrooms, if using purely liberty caps or Panaeolus foenisecii it will take you awhile to gather enough for a good amount of tea. If only going for a small amount it should be a quick harvest, though there are PLENTY of different kinds of mushrooms you can use. make sure to wash them ... slightly typically just enough to remove dirt. I also cut the stems most of the way off too :P but you dont have to.
In a med size sauce pan- fill 1/2 with water
Boil the mushrooms ALONE for about 5 mins then reduce heat. Add some honey and a tbsp of sugar, return to boil for another 5 mins. Add Water (just about a cup) Add the Star anise mint raspberry jasmine and blackberry. Simmer for about 10 mins. Add the orris root and bee pollen. Simmer for another 10 mins then remove from heat. Strain well.
You can either drink this hot or cold, I like it both ways personally though I think it tastes more like a nice sweet tea (if you add enough honey) when cold. But also depending on if you are really looking to commune with the fae or not.
Today is more of a wee Faery tea day for me :P So here ya go! Have fun and Dance with the Fae!!!
