So my ex's father passed away last night. I'm not sure the proper channels of sending my condolences. Of course I will be sending flowers, but I just want him to know he can call if he needs anything.
We are not on bad terms, but not the best of friends either. So I guess the question is: Is a text message too impersonal? Something along the lines of: "I'm sorry for your loss, please don't hesitate to call if you need anything" Or should I just suck it up and go see him.
And unfortunately in being selfish I don't want to be known as the bitchy ex that didn't acknowledge his father's death.
