A friend of mine started this online fundraiser for a dear friend, Carole, who is the Co-founder of The Paw'd Squad Animal Rescue. She has dedicated her life to animal rescue and is truly an inspiration to all of us. Please take a look and see if you can help. She has ALWAYS been there to help me out with every and any dog I have found, fostered, and adopted! She is truly amazing!
She has been working hard to save the life’s of abandoned, sick, and abused dogs in Los Angeles. Since starting the Paw’d Squad in 2001 she has saved close to 500 dogs, and lives and lovingly cares for some of the hardest cases (dogs unadoptable due to behavioral or health problems that would otherwise be “put down”). The majority of the time, the funds to care for these animals comes out of the money she earns at her full-time day job.
With all that she does to help these unfortunate animals, we now have an opportunity to help Carol and give back to her for all the sacrifices she has made. The car she uses to transport animals, to do adoption house checks, to deliver the dogs to their new homes, and to get back and forth from work is broken down and needs serious repair but she is without the funds to do so. Those of us close to her know that the only reason she cannot pay for the repairs herself is because she pays for so much of the dog’s care out of her own pocket. If you can help us help Carole, there are a lot of dogs alive today that would thank you if they could.
