My real name is Kathi. I turned 50 recently and looking damn good for it if I do say so myself. I live in a suburb of Baltimore MD. I'm single and no kids. I have 2 cats and a roommate. I work in the computer field but I am not a technical person, I'm in management for the most part.
As to what I am lookiing for here on Fubar. ... I have a very special man I have been involved with for a few months now and we are very happy together. However I still enjoy talking to people and flirting with my friends from Fubar because it is just harmless fun.
I had Gastric Bypass Surgery in Aug 2006 to lose weight to allieviate some health issues. It worked and I have lost 110 pounds since then. It was hard but I am glad to still be on this Earth. Now let me warn all you Chubby-HATERS, keep your hate to yourself where it belongs.

Interests
I am into Vampires, Ren faire (Renaissance period style festivals) and chatting online.
Yes I dress up in "garb" as we call it, you might call it a costume, for Ren faire. But NO I don't try to go all Goth Vampire and shit. That would be totally wrong for the era we are enjoying so I dress like a Wench or a Pirate Wench. Check out some of my pictures and see. I am a member of the International Wench's Guild, The Mercanaries Guild and the Privateers Guild from Lundegaard.com. Ren faire geek stuff, don't let it throw you. You pay your money they send you a nice pewter pin and a certificate.
Vampires and online chatting sort of go hand in hand as we do a tiny bit of Vampire roleplay online and have a fun time. I have always been fascinated by the whole biting thing more than the blood itself but vampires just seem so sexy. Guess it was all those movies as a kid.
Music
My musical tastes are very eclectic.... anything and everything from Country to Rock to Soul to 70's Funk to 80's & 90's Dance to Oldies to 80s Hair bands to Soft Rock ballads......toss in a tiny bit of classical or New Age waves crashing on the shore when I need to really relax and you have me. Let's not forget some of today's music. Here is one for you now....

Movies
I like a lot of different types of movies but I think Action/Adventure, Comedy and Sci-fi are my favorites. Love stories need some comedy to make them work for me but every movie should have a touch of romance in it or it sucks.
My all time favorite movie is "Big Trouble in Little China" with Kurt Russell. It is the campiest movie I have ever seen but then it has Kurt Russell and he is terrific in any movie I have ever seen him in. Take the movie "Soldier" for instance, he barely spoke more than a few lines in the entire movie but his eyes spoke volumes. It was FANTASTIC!
Vampire movies - Love at First Bite and Once Bitten are my favorites because they are silly. Dracula with Frank Langella was a very sexy movie and Bram Stoker's Dracula was fabulous as well. Lost Boys has it campy moments but overall I enjoyed it for the action.
Other movies I like a lot: West Side Story, American in Paris, John Wayne Westerns, Romancing the Stone, The Big Chill, Star Trek movies, Star Wars movies, Dune, The Mummy and The Mummy Returns, All 3 Lord of the Rings movies and Both Pirates of the Carribean movies.
Idols
Okay ... so I'm old.... my IDOLS are Ann-Margaret and Liz Taylor.
I would watch Ann-Margaret in movies as a kid and wish I would someday be half as sexy as she was. I'm still working on it because she was just being herself and not afraid to try things. I am a big scaredy-cat. She still has fire and passion.
Liz Taylor is simply one of the most beautiful and sophisticated woman ever. Her flawless complextion and incredible violet eyes still make her beautiful even at her age. She is always a lady, even when she is being a passionate one.
Passion - the key to being sexy.
My other idols are my Mom and my 2 best friends, Terri and Shirley. All 3 of them make being a working woman and a mom seem effortless. They make Martha Stewart look like she has bad manners and bad taste.
