| I had rented a compact car threw Enterprise to go to my son wedding in Missouri on friday . We got there and it was around 11 PM or so. My son, 2 of my daughters and my granddaughter all went to walmart that night. We get back into the car and I could not get the thing out of park. So I called their 1-800 they said they would get us a taxi and get a tow truck out their in 90 mins or less. By this time it was around 1 AM, 2 of my kids pondered about walking, my son said it was only about a mile. So they took off walking in the mean time Enterprise called back my daughter as they was walking back and said they could not get us a taxi because no one would take a credit card. So my daughter and son came back to get my other daughter and my granddaughter and took them back to my son apartment. I sat in the car and waited until around 4 their time. And finally the tow truck came. Next morning Joplin Enterprise called me this was around 11:45 and i told them that i had to be at my sons wedding at 1:30 he said not a problem i would have plenty of time. I sat outside waiting on them until around 1. Finally the guy calls me and tells me that he was personally going to bring me a truck. I said what a truck I came down with a compact car . He said that was the only thing that they had available. So I meet the guy where he said to meet him. The man shows up at a quarter till 2. I am already late to get to the church. I head home the next day with the truck (boy what a gas hog thank goodness for the E85 gas) I take the truck back the next day and the branch manager would not be in until today he was on vacation. He said the only thing they could refund was the 72.02 and that he would waiver the fee of $500 for my inconvieniences because THEIR car broke down. I told him I would not rent for them again because of the crap that I went threw and all they could give me back was the $72.02. I told him that I would not rent from them again! Has something like this ever happened to anyone else ? |
