I guess this is the part where I am supposed to be witty and charming. Occasionally, I have that particular skill. Lately--or so I've heard--I'm just a loud, pain in the ass--inadvertantly, of course. just being me. Anyway, I think too much for a blonde from Mississippi. I'm educated and warped from my specialty areas. The Transcendentalists will f*** you up every time...as long as you read them as deliberately as the author wrote the heavily connotated words. Or so says Thoreau. *sigh* I'm a pool-playing poet who loves to cook/feed people, who talks, reads, and thinks too much for her own damn good, and is a computer geek at heart. wow...hard to pin down. Right now I'm in a '90's acoustic grunge phase. I always love intricate guitar and meaningful lyrics. Music equals math and should take you on a journey... literally and metaphorically. i like to drive really fast while I'm grooving and singing far too loudly for public consumption. Local music around here is the shit!!!! I can say this...BOX FAN, Better Than Ezra, Chance Fisher (judson has the fastest fingers I have ever seen work/ honor a fret), Country Blues (a genre, not a band!), Lauren Hill, Audioslave, Jay Stevens, Pearl Jam, STP, Indigo Girls, Melissa (her older stuff), Erykah Badu, and Jason Mraz. The list could go on....and on....and on....
