I am very liberal and educated with a BA in Semitic languages, BA in Classical Greek, Masters in Theology with a post BA option in archaeology. You may assume where this would lead but I will leave that for another time and another discussion if you would so choose to pursue this avenue. I must say though, that I am an agnostic, but have strong respect for others faith as long as I am not proselytized to.
Also, born in Chicago, I have lived numerous places so while I consider myself fairly well traveled, I prefer a slower social pace and am far more comfortable in a more bucolic environment.
I am new to the Minneapolis area, having moved here from Helena, MT a year and a half ago so with my somewhat shy demeanor I find it difficult to make friends with the more "Minnesota Nice" (read: passive aggressive) people. With that in mind, I do not know of many great places to go out on dates, especially in the winter.
I am a former smoker, drug/disease and most definitely drama free.
6'1" average to athletic build depending on your subjective view, two celtic and hindu religious tattoos that I got during college, blue eyes, blah blah blah...
I have been told my sense of humor, while considerably dry at times, is often bounteous. It takes a short time before I usually feel comfortable enough to share it though, as my shyness can get in the way of revealing too much about myself emotionally. Once I have made a friend, they are often solid in the knowledge that my loyalty is not to be questioned.
Friend references can be given upon request... :P

Agreed, alot more to do here! I lived in the"North Country" lol... Little town called Chinook... By Havre, if you ever heard of it. I have alot of family and friends there, since i grew up in the area. Here i have a few friends and inlaws, but not the same If i were to go back, it would be for my family, and secondly friends. Why did you choose MN?
Good to know i'm not the only person dumb enough to move from one cold place to another. I was born and raised there, moved here, back to MT for 2 years, then i've been back here almost two years. With no PRESSING urge to go back, but someday, who knows ... Also, i don't know many people who would call Helena EXCITING, so yeah, on the button, there.
