May was a very rough month for me. I keep getting these recurrent eye infections that seem to come from no where. I am not sure if it is the dust that constantly falls in my room or if I have the eyelid infection known as Blepahtis or something like that. But something is wrong, anjd I fear the worst which is a degree of blindness in the eyes. I thought today that a majority of this last bout with it was over, but when I stepped outside to walk down the block, the sun burned my eyes like wildfire and made it hard to see. 

And the fact that I have other health problems on top of that is why sometimes my posting here is touch and go, but I do what I can to rate, like and be friends with all of you. 

I am a 44 year old female who lives with several chronic illnesses. I have an autoimmune problem where my healthy cells attacks itself thinking it is a bad cell invading the body. Mine is Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, which is an overlap of Lupus, Scleraderma, Raynaud's and Rheumatoid Arthritis. I also have neuropathy, Mild Pulmonary Hypertension, Tachycardia (my heart rate will go as high as 192 bpm walking a block and a half). High Blood Pressure, Osteo and Rheumatoid Arthritis. The most latest problem is issues with my eyes, including recurrent eye infections that seem to come out of no where. Every other day my eyes will burn and itch. I have tried everything from ointment to artificial tears. 

I often get frustrated with my body and my life as it is so hard to have invisible diseases that no one can see, and even harder to find. It really is a cha;;enge every waking moment. I tried to search for other people with chronic illness. but no luck that wway. Maybe I will try to type in the actual terms and see what I can find. In the meantime, feel free to add me if you also deal with chronic illnesses. We all could use the support.
