Ok. To say the least, I don't know if i have made good choices. I was miserable in my "former life" and so I left it. My kids are 15 and 21 and I did ask them to come with me but I didn't push it, so I am being told I abandoned them. My family, mom, sister, dad, etc, are pissed that I am gone and blame everything from their unhappiness to stale bread on me being gone. They all contributed in some way to what made me unhappy in the first place. Oh and my husband filed for divorce 18 days after I left it was was final on September 5th... which coincidentally was our 16th wedding anniversary.
My son called me last night... drunk... and ripped me up one side and down the other because I made him an orphan (he's 21). And told me I need to just more back home and make everyone happy.
What should I do?
I am not really happy yet in my new life but I know I wasn't happy for 40 years back there. Should I stay here and keep trying on my own or should I go back and make them "happy" |
