So the past week has been very exiting yet has left me very dehydrated haha. First all the shows that have been in town have just been overwhelming...
My set will be coming out on Nov.. 16th on Broken Dollz for one....
Drove out to Baton Rouge to see Psyclone Nine and Merazene from chicago. It was the first time seeing Merazene and we where pretty impressed :) I figured they where going to be another Dope rip off band but they still had there own style, you could definitely tell they are used to playing in front of a lot of people... and after they got off stage we where able to talk with the singer for a while. He was a really friendly guy and it turns out he used to play with Bile! If you ever get a chance to talk with him you need to, he is a really funny guy. Then Psyclone came on and totally rocked the house, they only got a half an hour set so most of there intros where skipped but they still rocked my socks :D I bought a bunch of merch, got stuff signed (oh yeah i am a fan girl) and found out later that the singer is planning on moving to New Orleans, how cool is that?
Then the next day we got to see Reverend Horton Head with Hank the 3rd. It was my first time seeing Hank so i was super exited. The first part of his set was his country stuff (and he covered a Johnny Cash song :D) the the second part was Metal, i fucking loved it! You could really tell that metal is what he really enjoys to do, country may be his roots but i think Satan is what drives him haha. We looked for merch for Hank but they did not have any for sale :( Then The Rev. came on and did a great set like they always do. I was surprised how much of it was instrumental actually.
Halloween was the next day then so we already knew it was going to be a hard night haha. We went down to one eyes jacks to see Witchcraft from Sweden I think. If you ever wanted to see Black Sabbath young this is your chance. These guys are fucking amazing! One of the opening bands though really blew me away, there name is Evil Army. They where like thrash, and old Punk rolled in to one. They where all out of cds so we got a shirt, i got to talk with the singer a little while and he said they would be coming back soon. Oh and FYI i always seem to think i can drink Crown Royal after drinking Yagerbombs, i cant! Tried to get a black tooth Grin for Dime that night and i could not finish it haha.
So yeah their eis all that going on pulse a shit load of horror movies where all on sale at best buy so i got bunch of them, and picked up the 13 disk Masters Of Horror (there are some really good ones with it :D) So the times i was not at a show the past week i have been eating candy and watching horror movies haha.
Man i could go on way more about the week to with WoW and the kids i got in a fight with but ehh i think that is good for now.
