For those that haven't seen one, this is the Purple Heart that is awarded when soldiers do not return home. I was named after a man who's ship was torpedoed in the North Atlantic Ocean in World War II. I now hold his heart in my hand; may God bless all of our soldiers. They all deserve a medal, just because they came back home doesn't mean it's over for them.
