I work in an assisted living facility, ans when I was at work tonight one of my residents fell.
He was already on alert status and we check him every 10-15 minutes. When he fell tonight he tore his hand open really bad, we called 911 and it took them 25 minutes to get there (we live in a very small town).
We also called the house manager, who never even came in to see how he was. I think as her job being "Manager" and all, she should have came in to see how the resident was, but she never did.
The resident was taken to the hospital for treatment, and when I got off at 7:30am, I went to the hospital to see how he was and to talk to his family before I ever came home. I think the "house Manager" should have been the one to do this.
Since she didn't does that mean she is not doing her job? |
