Hi, I am a father, a husband, and a part time soldier. I don't know what order they all fall in, but they are all a big part of me and what I believe in.

My daughter is my light, I do not get up in the morning nor go to sleep at night without first giving thanks that she has been placed in my care. I do not deserve such love and I hope that I will not ever take it for granted. I don't think I ever knew what love was until the day she was born. Something so little and unable to talk, taught me more about life in about 30 seconds than I could figure out in all my other 37 years..

I am a soldier in the South Carolina Army National Guard. I am very proud to be a part of something so much bigger than myself. I have never been to war, and honestly, I am scared to death that I may be called someday. The courage and honor of the men and women I serve with is exceptional and they deserve our respect and support much more than they get.

I believe in paying back any debt that is owed. I got where I am because of the sacrifice of others, I owe God and country and I hope I can do my part to pay them back...
