These are some of the workarounds that I have found for the Android app problems that help me get things done quickly. Hope they are helpful for you.
If you're having refresh problems. Force stop the Fubar app, clean the cache, then restart the app.
For problems with app crashing while rating pics. Scroll to the last pic in the folder. Like/rate the pics in a backwards order. This will load everything for the app to work while waiting for the pics. You can usually rate 4 pics while still waiting for the pics to load.
For problems with app crashing while polishing/liking bling. Same as pics, scroll to the bottom of the bling folder, and work your way up. This will load everything for the app to work while waiting for the bling images to load.
Whether your liking/rating pics and profiles, or polishing/liking bling, always wait for the points window to show up. This will keep you from missing bling because the app thought you polished it because you were going too fast. This will also help keep you from running into the "Alcohol Detection Check".
If you're rating too fast It tells you you're rating is ignored, but the app isn't bringing up the "Alcohol Detection Check", force stop the app and clear cache. If that doesn't work log into the website from your browser, then you can verify the checkpoint and go back to the app.
Taking the time to scroll to the end of a pic or bling folder and waiting for the points received window to show up seems like it takes a lot of time, but it takes less time than reloading the app everytime it crashes.
Following these steps I very rarely have a problem with the app crashing.
