| Updates: Bridge fire in mountains near Mt. Baldy which started several days after the Line JUST South of me in the southern mountains near Highland & Running Springs has quadrupled in size! Now at over 50,000 acres, 30 homes burned, ZERO containment! The Line fire closets to me has grown to over 37k acres buy does have 18% containment. The good news is ten temperatures suddenly dropped overnight. I woke to 58 degrees at 6:00 a.m. this morning! The first low temps we've had in the high desert since April I think. Been a long hot summer. Good news, the arsonists arrested fir setting the fire on purpose WILL NOT be able to get out on bail now as of yesterday. As he is suspected of setting other fires. |
