I wrote this poem in rememberance of my favorite aunt who was like a mother to me Why do you cry little bird up in the tree so high? Is it cause your friend left you without a reason why? Your heart is broken as I can see Please, don't be sad little bird up in the tree She was my heaven on Earth my best friend Why, did it have to end? Don't worry little bird her pain is now suffering in the past Her pictures of memories will forever last Little bird dry your tears away Don't be upset cause she couldn't stay Now, I'm a lonely bird like so I didn't want to let her go I know little bird up above But always Remember she left behind her love You can find her it is so true The loving memory of her will live forever in you Now, little bird shed your happiness for all to see And open your eyes and realize she's now free For now she might be gone But her presence will live forever on and on I know you're puzzled on what to do But even though she isn't here she watches down on you I know your painful tears won't go away Your sadness is only temporary for you will see her again one day Now, cheer up little bird for her soul and body did part But she left footprints in your heart Even though She isn't with us Hold your chin up high for one day you too Will walk beside her and Our Dear Lord Jesus.

The day was just the same No heartaches at first no one to blame It came without warning to my friend Who was to know their life was going to end At that moment in time a plane came out of the blue It hit the building no one didn't know what to do Then all of a sudden it happened once more Like it felt like sudden war Buildings were crashing to the ground Some people got out others weren't found A big puff of smoke filled the air To show our nation hate was once there It happened at that moment in time on september eleventh Where some were hurt and others went to heaven There's a point where none will forget How it hit all at once like a bomb was set So no matter if the buildings were hit and they had to fall We rise still and as one we stand tall

God says let us be glad and rejoice For unto us is a man and womans forever choice God has angels around us that he has sent Not only for love but his present Together you no longer stand as two apart But as one like a beating heart Everyone stands in silence a voice you now hear For they look into each others eyes with warm and care The husband takes his wifes hand and says for everyone to see You are my heart, soul,and every part of me I choose to honor and be true No matter in sickness and in health that you will go through For in rich or in fame I will be yours no matter what I show you no shame With this love I do bring It might not be silver or a diamond ring Its something that you will forever carry I love you and only you your my wife who I do marry The wife takes her husbands hand and says for everyone to see Your my husband my new beginning of a family I choose to honor and be true In sickness and in health no matter what life brings you I will be with you where ever you shall roam My heart will be with you always even when your called home Your every good and perfect gift from up above For God has showed me my one and only true love You mean everything to me your worth alot Today I am here to show you my heart and soul you now have got I want to spend with you every part of my life Being by your side as your loving wife As we sit here as these two God did bring Everyone sat in silence as the Angels started to sing Through it all in the image of Gods son They came here today to be as one I give them my blessing and congratulate them in a whole new life So now in Gods eyes they are now husband and wife

I'M STUCK IN A PLACE CALLED CONFUSED LOST IN IT AS MISUNDERSTOOD AND USED WHERE AM I TO DWELL? EXCEPT AROUND ME I SEE HELL TENTS AND COUGHTS ARE MY HOME A LAND OF DIRT IS WHERE I ROAM MY CLOTHES ARE DARK BROWN AND WHITE SO I CAN HIDE EASY OUT OF SIGHT MY BOOTS IS WHAT I WEAR THEY HURT MY FEET AND MAKE THEM TEAR ON MY HEAD IS A PROTECTIVE HAT FROM THE SUN WHERE I'M AT A CHORE IS NEVER DONE AT NIGHT IS DARK WHERE YOU SHIVER NO ISLAND AROUND OR EVEN A RIVER ALL I SEE IS DARKNESS VERY FAR NO MOON OR EVEN A STAR NO BIRDS FLYING OR EVEN BEES OR SQUIRRELS CLIMBING THE TREES MY GUN IS MY BEST FRIEND OH! HOW MUCH I WISH THIS COULD END THE LANGUAGE THE PEOPLE HERE SPEAK IS HARDLY THE SAME THEY JUST STICK THEIR NOSES UP AND GIVE US THE BLAME AT NIGHT I SLEEP TRAPPED INSIDE THAT I'M LOST NOWHERE TO HIDE MY FEELINGS ARE DEEP AND SOMETHING I DON'T WANT TO YEARN SEEING DEATH AROUND ME WHEN WILL IT BE MY TURN I'M RID OF A PLACE NOT SAFE TO ME I JUST WANT TO BE WITH MY FAMILY I KEEP THEIR PICTURES NEXT TO ME IN BED LIKE A GOOD LUCK CHARM THAT I KISS THEM AND SAY GOOD-NIGHT AND I'M WITHOUT HARM I CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP AND TELL GOD UP ABOVE IF ANYTHING HAPPENS GIVE THEM MY LOVE FOR THEY WILL BE IN MY HEART STILL AND IN MY LAST DIEING WILL THE FLAG SUPPOST TO MEAN I'M FREE BUT WHERE I'M AT I DON'T FEEL IT INSIDE ME AS THE PAIN GROWS DEEPER AND SOON I WILL NO LONGER WALK THIS LAND ALL YOU WILL SEE IS PUDDLES OF TEARS FROM PAIN IN THE EYES OF A TRAPPED SOLDIER MAN
