I'm emotionally tapped and possibly in need of job change. Was suppose to accept/decline new position yesterday. Couldn't make up my mind. Help!!!
I was sought out and offered job A. Working with inmates, which I'm comfortable with, have done in the past. Very likely only 40 hours a week. Pay is about 8K more than current pay.
Job B - I currently working 3 days a week seeing patients in general medicine office. Paid three 8 hour shifts a week, but actually working close to 10 hours a day. Patients call me at home and email too...... so I never have "off time". On a positive note.... there are days when the satisfaction outweighs the pay..... but I allow myself to be drained of all energy.
Job C - I currently work 2 days (job B "shares" me) at a specialty office. Pay is high, job is frustrating due to lazy co-workers. Job C can coincide with both A & B for a bit, but with choice A, C would have to eventually go.
I wish there were A,B, or C choices! But there's not.
Help me choose.
A- more pay, less hours...... ?less appreciative clients
B- less pay, more hours...... some positive satisfaction |
