Kid at heart, idealistic, entertaining, JONATHAN YOCUM has always aimed to bring a smile to others. Knowing the difference between the ups-and-downs has a positive effect. Complicated family issues led Jonathan to live with his grandparents at a very young age, something that was always confusing and difficult to understand. In the long-run this has grown Jonathan into the better person he is today.
Born in Manchester, New Hampshire, Jonathan mainly lived in Contoocook, New Hampshire since he was 8 years old. It was only then in the 4th grade did he realize while watching his schools talent show that he wanted to entertain and grab the hearts and smiles of audiences. This passion has led Jonathan to fall in love with the stage, cameras, spotlights and microphones. He quickly dreamed to become the greatest Television Host. Performing is his life.
His freshmen year in Hopkinton Middle High School, Jonathan decided to sing for Winter Carnival. He competed with grades 9 through 12 and came in 2nd place by the end of his performance. Since then he would perform at all of his schools events.
While in Hopkinton Middle High School he studied general courses and dedicated his main focus in his Theater and Music classes. In and out of his studies he would continue to practice his stand-up performances wherever he was and had the time.
After graduating high school in 2008, he decided to move to South Portland, Maine to attend, "Southern Maine Community College" where Jonathan studied Communications and New Media. During his time in college he spent many hours at the television and radio studios that were located at the college. Jonathan was involved in many video and sound recordings. In 2011, he earned his Associates Degree in Communications and New Media.
JONATHAN currently lives in Contoocook, New Hampshire while building towards his dreams of becoming the greatest: Television Host.
