Sometimes I think I'm like most people, and then other times I think I'm from a different planet. Relaxing, partying at silly times of the week, staying up late, good music, good food, good wine, random acts of pointless fun, a good view, mountains of Austria or Italy, missing the train you were hoping to catch but discovering a great café instead, being surprised by people, the first kiss, getting a call from a friend at midnight, taking an interest in and caring about those people close to me, the smell of aviation fuel, or cut grass, or a mens aftershave, following rambling thoughts wherever they may lead, meaning what I say, hearing something new, watching something old, discovering something I thought I'd lost - these are some of the things that make me smile and glad I'm here. Somewhere there is someone that dreams of your smile, And finds in your presense that life is worthwhile, So when you are lonely remember it's true, Somebody somewhere is thinking of you.

We all want to fall in love. Why? Because that experience makes us feel completely alive, Where every sense is heightened, And every emotion is magnified, Our everyday reality is shattered, And we are flung into the heavens. It may only last a moment, a hour, or an afternoon, But that does not diminsh its value, Because we are left with memories, That we treasure for the rest of our lives.
