Interests
My interests revolve around a main theory of smiles and laughter. When I am old I will cherish every laugh line – but you won’t be seeing them because I will be laughing! I love to try new things. I am adventurous and I love the out doors. I like four-wheeling, riding motorcycles, swimming in the ocean, horse-back riding, dancing in the rain, playing on playgrounds, having picnics and bon fires, shooting guns, camping, snow skiing and exploring caves are just a few. Some things I have never done but want to so desperately do: sky diving, deep sea diving, paint guns, parasailing, jet skiing, hang gliding, hunting, surfing. The list goes on and on!
MUSIC
I listen to just about anything. Classical, hip hop, oldies, rap, rock... but mainly country. I guess it all depends on my mood. I sing along a lot - and not very well I might add... but I don't care because I just like to have fun!
MOVIES
I am fond of a worthy horror movie - and not those B rated teenage crap... I like to be scared – my heart racing and toes curled - things that could REALLY happen. I especially love a good psychological thriller! I also enjoy many comedy flicks. I like to laugh until my stomach hurts. Action movies are fun, though I don’t like them on a regular basis… unless they have Bruce Willis in them – I could watch that man all day! I am not too keen on romantic movies. Honestly, they make me uncomfortable. I like to leave reality from time to time – but romantic movies are too far of a stretch – even for me!
TELEVISION
Last Comic Standing, Desperate Housewives, Greys Anatomy, CSI - Vegas, Without a Trace, Lost, Ghost Whisperer, Sex In The City... I love my DVR and use it to its full advantage. I am able to watch my shows when I want AND I can zoom through the commercials.
BOOKS
I thoroughly enjoy Nicholas Sparks’ books and own all of them. Nothing is better than curling up on the couch during a thunder storm and reading one of his heroic love stories. I also appreciate the series by Harold Schechter - true stories of serial killers. The criminal psychologist in me wants to know what’s going on inside their heads. I also like my Cosmo magazines; they are good for keeping my mind busy when I know I will be interrupted shortly. I like to read, and will read just about anything I can get my hands on.
HEROES
The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit - I always try to do what is right, what is fair and what is true. I am continually in a constant struggle to better myself into the person God has intended me to be. Life is journey with unceasing changes to the heart, soul and mind. I am not perfect. I have never claimed to be perfect. I never will be perfect in a human’s eye – but no matter the change in me – I am perfect through my Father’s eyes because I am who He made me to be. So love me, hate me, judge me - but you cannot break me because I am perfectly me!
