Well, I'm one of these guys that will forever be young, no matter how old I get. I will always want to seek fun and laughs first, adventure and excitement as staples for a great time. I have a great sense of humor and am considered a great date. I've even been a stand-up comic in some clubs before with some great success. I am a romanticist at heart and can be very sentimental. My mommy brought me up to treat a lady like a princess... all the time. Chivalry is not dead. I would defend my ladies honor till the death!

I'm 42-years old. I am 5'10" tall (average height), have a very athletic build (I am a workout freak), have piercing blue eyes and a sexy smile. My hair is black and still doesn't have much gray in it. I am very witty and creative and that is a big part of my personality. I've even got the fortune of being able to use it predominately in my career. I am in the communications, marketing and public relations field. Presently, I am the marketing coordinator for a mid-size airport in the Midwest. It is a very nice position and it allows me the cash liquidity to pretty much do whatever I want to do. I've also been a copywriter at an advertising agency in Chicago, a video/film producer for a production house in St. Louis, and before I came back home to Iowa, was the media spokesperson and PR Director at Lambert Field International Airport in St. Louis, Missouri. I presently live in Des Moines, Iowa, where I started working for the City of Des Moines as the public relations secretary for the Mayor of Des Moines. That led to my nickname of Michael J. Fox since my position was similar to his character on SpinCity. I moved back to my first love, aviation, and now am working for the Des Moines International Airport.

I attended Grand View College in Des Moines, Iowa, and the University of Iowa over in Iowa City. I have a degree in Mass Communications/Marketing from GVC, and I have a Masters from Iowa particpating in the acclaimed Writers Workshop. I played high school and college baseball and I love baseball as my first love! I now am an ardent and loyal St. Louis Cardinals fan forever. I love to go down to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri and skim across the lake in my boat. It is the best place for me to relax and relieve stress of any kind to go and be on the lake for the weekend. I love to dance and am very accomplished at it. I'm not one of these guys that will sit through spirited music. I'll be out there enjoying it to the fullest and getting good exercise at the same time. FUN is capital when you're dating or just enjoying life in general. If life isn't fun, it isn't worth living.

Did I mention that I LOVE to workout? I workout at least 4 times per week. I run, do stairmaster, and elliptical machine for aerobic exercise, and I workout with free weights for strength and toning. I love to long distant bike ride (peddle kind, people). Lance Armstrong is my hero! I participate in many bike rides and love to ride. This summer I'm participating in my first triathlon. Other than the water, I can't think of any place I'd rather relieve stress than coasting down a scenic trail on my road bike.

I love to travel and two of my favorite places in the whole world is the Mexican Caribbean and Hawaii. I try and go to one of these at least once a year. I've got a time share in Mazatlan, Cancun, and Kuaii, Hawaii. I also love to go to places in the United States like Orlando, Key West, California coast, Seattle (one of my all-time favorite cities), Colorado (the mountains invigorate me), and Texas. I've never been to New York City, but I'm going to try and go later this year. Give me an exotic beach, my boat docked nearby, a shady palm, and a frozen margarita, and I'm in Heaven! I'm really a Jimmy Buffett wannabe. Someday, that's what I'd like to do is retire and just have a nice boat and cavort to every pier along the coast of Mexico.

I love amusement parks! Have you ever been to Sandusky, Ohio, and Cedar Point? That is where rollercoasters are King! You've got to love it!!! If I can't be in a beach setting, or in the mountains hiking, backpacking, and cliff climbing, I'd love to be on a ride in one of America's great amusement parks. I love live bands and dancing, but also enjoy a quiet evening watcing a DVD in my den. Which can also be followed by a night of star-gazing in the hot tub (clothes are optional) with a cool, exotic cocktail in tow.

I am a very good photographer and enjoy digital, high-end photography. With my old video production skills and access to a great non-linear editing system can produce a great music video, or any other kind of creative memoir or souvenir for all-time. I'm always looking for suitable models... could you be one? I do love to write and still write poetry which I started in college. I love to act and wish I could make a living at it, but alas I want to live to exquisitely and I couldn't wait for that big break. I do a lot of community theatre and enjoy all the many roles I've been cast in. Before I die, I'd like to write a book or two.

I am big on family. I love my wife, my kids and grandkids. Family always come first. I love to read self-improvement or motivational books by reknowned authors who I admire (John Maxwell, Lance Armstrong, Charles Swindholl). I consider myself a man of integrity and I will stand up for what I believe in spiritually, morally, and patriotically. I love my country and will never ever want to live anyplace else than America.

Music
I come from the Golden Age of Rock n Roll where the 70's and the 80's is the two best decades of music! I love Classic Rock and legendary groups like: The Beatles; Stones; Led Zeppelin; and The Who. My all-time favorite group is The EAGLES! I also enjoy REO Speedwagon, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, AC/DC, Boston, Kansas, ZZ Top, John Mellencamp, Linda Ronstandt, Jackson Browne, Lynnard Skynnard, Doobie Brothers, Bryan Adams, Jimmy Buffett, Bob Seger Creedence Clearwater Revival, Chicago, etc.

With all that said, now a days, the only thing that comes close to good rock n roll is modern day country artists! It is my belief that hip/hop and rap have literally destroyed modern music, that and such candy-wipes such as: Britney Spears; Justin Timberlake; Fergie; Rappers like 50-cents, JayZ and Kayne West... you can put them all on a slow boat to China and everyone would be the better for it. If it wasn't for rap, most of these thugs would be in prison, not making millions for virtually talking garbage into a microphone.

So, with that said, I love modern country artists like: Kenny Chesney; Keith Urban; Martina McBride; Faith Hill; Rascal Flatts; Lonestar; Garth Brookes; Sugarland; Brookes and Dunn, etc. I cannot think of a better voice on the planet than Martina, and I could probably climax to her voice! Chesney is the pinnacle of the blend of country and rock! Rascal Flatts is one of the best premier groups of our time, and Keith Urban can put some fearsome licks on an electric guitar. Is it any wonder that artists like Jon Bon Jovi have collaborated with the Sugarland beauty, Jennifer Nettles for some kick-ass modern day classics! Being a marketing major, you have to admire the showmanship and mastery of blending rock culture and country music that Garth Brookes has accomplished. He has one of the best concert tours and stage shows a going today. And, bottom-line, he knows how to market his music and a new era of rock converts to modern country as the best music alternative! Rappers and hip hop artists, teeny bopper nightmares like Britney and Justin, go back to your caves.
