In the fall of 2001 I Mark C Bergeron, met a young woman named Loubna Salagh on the Internet. She Is a citizen of the Kingdom of morocco we corresponded fore almost a year Before I made plans to go to Morocco in the spring of 2002 To get engaged and to marry her and Bring her back to Roseville California USA with me!
I arrived in morocco on June 10 of 2002 I was warmly welcomed by lobnas family at there home in media Beach Morocco but tragedy struck me the second day after I arrived! In the morning, about 10 o’clock June 12th about 10 am before breakfast I went into the bathroom to bathe and shave what I didn’t realize was that the water heater in the bathroom was installed incorrectly. It had been like that for a number of years I fond out later. It allowed the Exhaust gas from the heater to fill up the room, when I was shaving then, When I went into the tub for my bath, I reached over to adjust the hot Water temperature with my left hand, as I bent over the Carbon Monoxide exhaust gas I had Unknowingly inhaled while I was shaving, rushed to my head an knocked me Out! Unconscious, My Heart stopped;
I collapsed in the shower, boiling hot Water running directly on to my left hand They say I was clinically dead fore about twenty minutes before Lobnas Father Hadie Salagh (a retired Sergeant Major in the Moroccan army) broke the door Down and revived me with CPR He saved my Life! I have to admit I saw the Light after having my whole life flash before me! The first thing I saw where my three children Erica Lynette Bergeron 11 years old Noah Todd Wolner 10 years old and Little Amanda Lee Bergeron in the Backyard of Our Family Home in Citrus Heights California USA
Then Your Majesty I haven’t told many people out side of my immediate Family Of the experience. I had After I Experienced my whole life flashing before me. The next thing I saw Was the Catholic Saint Peter The experience I had With him was very intimate And sincere I will describe this experience as follows: I became conscience. I found my self in a Great Hal with 6 - 50 Foot White columns on each Side and Sealing of Stars there were six steps into and out of the great hall. Apparently to me, I had just walked down the six steps Behind Me because I looked Behind Me. I Saw Blackness and had just entered the great hall I took 2 steps forward looked at my Feet Witch Were Bare A turned my head to the left and looked down at my Left hand And somebody Gently grabbed My Left Hand An said to me
Come with me Mark I looked up at this Mans Face and I couldn’t Believe It at first but I recognized this Man AS the Catholic Saint Peter I said to him Where Am I Going? He Replied To Me face to face I am Peter and I Am Here to Take You Home; it is Not Your Time Peter then Lead Me Up to the stairs on the other end of the room as wee walked
I Saw Men, Women Young, old, sitting on the ledge of the room on both sides of the great hall and children about 30-35 People in all ages And Ethnicity The children were playing Jacks about 8 children In All. Peter then lead me up the other set of stairs Into the light I did not look Back I reached out in my mind and yelled as Loud as I could these words “ NO, I CANT GO, NOT YET. NO, NOT YET, NO!


Then What Happened to me Mark C Bergeron right after I Saw the light Was As Follows
I woke up in the hospital in the city of Kinetra At the sheikZiahad Medical center about 10 days later Unable to speak coherently I didn’t even realize my left hand had been Burned so severely that after about 6 days they had to amputate it because Gang Green had set in. I also received A second- degree burn on my left Lower hip witch has healed into a rather large scar
My Parents Larry and Pat Bergeron Were At my bedside when I woke up! So were lobna and her family! I was visited by the American deputy ambassador to the kingdom of morocco From The USA I was never looked on ore inquired about By the Monarchy I was released from the hospital 31 Days Later I Rested in The care of lobnas family fore another 3 months In the Media Beach area of Morocco at the Mansion where the accident had happened.
I regained my faculties and returned to Roseville California with my Father after about 4 months plus after the accident I Am Not Fully Recovered From the anoxia!
I have prosthesis to replace my left hand and I function somewhat Normally.
Loubna broke our engagement by going to the country of Belgium Fore a physical
Examination she was found to have a brain tumor and required surgery I haven’t gotten an email from loubna since last winter 2003
I Haven’t returned to work yet thou I have Ben in therapy for short-term memory loss for about a year and a half After the accident As a result of these injuries Described on the next page
Severe brain damage as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning, the incidental amputation of my left hand, a large scar on my left hip, the loss of my ability to perform advanced algebra math (ability tested at the fifth grade Level), and short term memory loss. I am unable to find work in my career of choice as a Master Electrician
