Bush: My thoughts on President Bush could be summed up in one very unkind word.. but, I try to give him a chance, he's human just like any of us, and can make mistakes, just like we all do. The thing is that he defends his mistakes to save his pride, which is what really bothers me about him. He's not the brightest person... he makes stupid decisions and doesn't realize the magnitude of his choices, and just how many lives he's changing in a negative way versus the few people he's helped.. He seems to be doing what my boss would call hunting for treasure.. he knows there's a way to help our country and the Iraqui's at the same time, he just doesn't know how to do it, and this isn't it, but he's too proud to admit that.. 2. Gay Marriage: I see no difference in gay marriage versus straight marriage, other than gays tend to be happier and in longer lasting relationships because they are being true to themselves. I think most straight people take advantage of the idea of marriage and abuse it. If you are promising to legally be bound to one person for the rest of your life, I think you should abide by that, regardless of your sex. If you can uphold your marriage for the rest of your lives, than you should be able to marry. If not, you shouldn't.. it's simple as that. 3. Lowering The Drinking Age: I see no problem at all with the legal drinking age being 18. If you're old enough to die for your country, and choose the fate of our political system, you're old enough to have a glass of wine with dinner. I haven't really done much research but I think I've heard that other countries with no legal drinking age have less problems with alcohol as far as minors and abusing it. It only makes sense, most kids here only drink at a younger age because they aren't allowed to.. thrill of the risk! Random 1. Straight, Gay, Bi: Straight 2.
