Every guy says they're a "good guy." I realize, that I'm not in anyway one of those "good guys." Nor am I any other worn adjective. I am something different/nearly opposite. Why am I referred to as a good guy? I'm not one of those "good guys". I play guitar and sing. I paint. I write. I read. I enjoy creating meals in the kitchen. I like to work out. I like to build bonfires. I like to float. I like to shoot pool. I have a habit of thinking and asking questions.I'm not that deep, the world is just too shallow.-----------------------------------------------------------I'm single. Probably will be for the rest of my life. Is that sad? I don't know, I'm used to it. Is love really the most important thing? I don't know, not sure if I've ever had it, maybe just imitations of it. Do I have to have the typical girlfriend-boyfriend relationship to be considered in love? Seems like most of these typical relationships end up in turmoil. It's not my fault people started dating at a young age, and hindered their personal growth and self actualization..If love is the greatest thing, what's the catch? Overpopulation? A recreation of people of primitive nature driven by sexual desire and the need to be comforted? What about something good on a non personal level? Something beyond the short attention span of two people?------------------------------------------------------Do you ever feel like you are living amongst zombies or farm animals? It's true, they infect each other and reproduce..-----------------------------------------------------------I've been thinkin about going to college. Not sure if it's worth the time/investment, for the stamp/brand of approval. It seems these labels start to lose meaning. Everybody is goin to college for the same reason, to make money. Everybody is getting the same degrees. Nobody cares about anything else, not even the ground they walk on.I do independent non-profit conservation work. I want to become a musical performer but not really like the typical "rockstar." I also want to have several types of farms. Greenhouses that replicate tropical locations, as well as aquaculture farms. I don't know how I'm gonna get all of this done. I will find out though.I realize organizations and programs don't get shit done because the mass herd of people assume those organizations/programs will fix every thing simply because they exist, but it doesn't work that way. It's like when there is an accident, everybody assumes a good samaritan will come along and help. People are either one-sided, narrow-minded, can't think for themselves, or have a very narrow field of vision. It's like how Americans idolize things such as celebrities, athletes, millionaires, rockstars and soldiers. Everything else is ignored, such as the conservationist. Who fights a battle to preserve the planet, yet has very little support, or cooperation. With all of this said, I hope you don't think I hate people, because I am a humanitarian, but I'm not your typical sheep patriot. America is a great place, but is a new country that needs a lot of improvement. So back to the conservation part: I raise certain amphibians, particularly small colorful frogs known as poison frogs(Dendrobates species). Amphibians are going through a worldwide decline. About 32% of amphibians are either extinct or endangered. It's sad that people aren't even aware of these things, but you could obtain other information from them about football scores, celebrities, politics, American pride/patriotism, fashion etc. What many fail to realize is that amphibians are indicators of the health of our environment. Because of their skin, they are sensitive to pollution. They play major roles in controlling bugs that maybe harmful, such as mosquitoes, which may carry disease and pests that may infest crops. Many amphibians are living pharmaceuticals that contain chemicals that are used in medicine. The Epipedobates tricolor, contains epibatidine, a painkiller many times stronger than morphine, with no addictive side-effects. There are thousands of other amphibians that may contain secrets to our problems. Yet, we neglect, and in turn destroy our own resources, people, places...----------------------------------------------------It's not about me. There's much more involved, it's not just poetry, it's a problem, a solution, a method, an equation, an influence...-A
