Interests
My life pretty much revolves around my son. So anything we can do to have a good time, I'm all for it. I love the outdoors, doing just about anything. We love to play sports, go to the pool, an occasional movie, ride bikes, fish, and travel when we can. I love to ski in the winter. I also enjoy art, I like to sketch in my spare time. Cooking is another one of my passions, love to throw together a great meal. I can compete with any restaurant in town and not have to leave the house. I believe in working hard and playing hard. I'm very laid back so just chilling out and watching the sunset or building a fire and having a couple drinks is fine too. Anything else you would like to know, feel free to ask.
Music
I love a wide range of music. I am the product of hippies, so I grew up listening to late 60's early 70's rock n roll. It has a special place in my heart, because it had such meaning and was sang from the heart. I grew up in the country so in those days it was that whiskey drinkin', holler' runnin, cry in your beer country music. As I got a bit older (we'll call it my experimental days), I was into Pink Floyd, the doors, jimmy Hendrix, etc. All of the old acid rock. I loved a lot of the lyrics, very poetic. In my 20's, I married "the devil" herself. She sucked the life right out of me, so I didn't much feel like listening to music.
Nowadays modern country has grown on me a bit, but I still love rock n roll as well. Not that screamin don't know what the hell they are sayin rock though. I can go with a little Regae, some r&b, basically depends on my mood. Don't much care for rap, you can keep the base thumping, not for me. I like to keep an open mind...
