I am 42.
I have a mission.
It is strange because for the first 41 years of my life I did not have a mission.
My mission is simple enough, but it does not fit in anywhere in life, it is not something that I can just say out of the blue to everyone I meet or pass by.
So I put it here to possibly catch a few people, maybe I will get to achieve my mission on fubar.
Ok, you have waited long enough, thanks for being patient, but I did not want to just burst out the words as you might think that I was simply a crazy person.
I noticed a lump in my leg, I did nothing about it. It grew bigger and bigger until I had to do something. So I went to the doctor, who sent me to a surgeon, who removed it.
But two weeks later he told me it was cancer.
If I had it removed when I noticed it things would not be so bad. But because I let it grow and spread I have had to have two operations, chemotherapy and radiation.
If I had it removed sooner I would stand a much better chance of survival.
So my mission is to let people know that early detection of cancer is vital. If you find a lump go to your doctor, please, I beg you, don't let my lesson be a waste of your time.
