Interests
Mostly surfing the net. With computers came digital cameras, so get into taking pics and working up collages.
I still read magazines. I like to keep up with current events with the Navy, so I'm a member of USNI, U.S. Naval Institute. Member at large of the Legion, VFW, Navy League, The Elks, and I forget who else. Never go to meetings, partly because I work nights, sleep most the day away. Even if I could go to meetings, I probably wouldn't anyway. Mags are good though. Elks, Legion, VFW, nice bars, but I rarely even go to them.
I like regular bars around my home town the best.
I have a grandson & two grand daughters. I see my grandson often. He's only 3, and my son has problems getting steady baby sitters, so I help where I can. I get into playing with him from time to time.
I have a friend from grade school days, Joe C. He was in the Navy when I was in, served aboard surface ships. My father gave him the nick name 'O'le Black Joe.' Now and again we bomb around in whatever vehicle he has. He changes vehicles like most people change their under wear. Not into computers but likes cell phones. We get together, generally up to no good, but life is hell. I get most of my nature pics on our country jaunts.
I still like women, but I have a wife, she's fiesty, mean as hell, so that pretty much puts the kebosh to any mis behaving with the fairer sex.
Other sites I frequent a lot are My Space, Navy Together We Served, Navsource.org, Official U.S. Navy website, Official U.S. Air Force website, National Museum of the U.S. Air Force, National Naval Aviation Museum.
I basically like reading a lot of Naval History, and so I get that mag from USNI. I think I have a better library on the subject than the town Library.
Music
Mostly some kind of rock. Bee Gees to AC/DC. Country, Shit Kickin',somewhat. Can do a little Metal, but only because my oldest son plays it. I rarely see him, but not because of that.
