This is me, ad nauseum ... I'm 45, not sure where life is taking me but hanging on for the ride. Want to see as many small towns in the U.S. as I can and someday sit on the porch of my house in the country with someone I love, drink lemonade and watch the clouds go by.

(This part lifted from my profile on a dating site, even though I'm not here for a dating thing): I'm easy to get along with and tend to see the best in people. I lean more towards playing in the dirt than fancy out-on-the town stuff. I'm just not really into the wine & dine thing. I don't like wine, but I do like drives through wine country . I'm usually found in jeans, and I seem to be most attracted to men in jeans, too - don't know what that's about, probably just the more casual, laid-back look. That's not to say I don't like getting dressed up once in awhile, just that I'd usually rather be at a bar-b-cue with friends or at a steak house than at a fancy restaurant. I really am an optimist and prefer to find the fun or funny side of situations when things go wrong rather than stress about it.

(And yet more, also lifted from my dating site profile): Here's a little bit more about me: 1) No matter how hard I try, I'll never be Suzy Homemaker. And I've tried. Cooking and housekeeping skills seem to escape me. Loving, laughing and enjoying life ? That I can do! 2) I had a kidney transplant 9 years ago and I have the scars to show for it. 3) I can be a complete fool sometimes, but so far it hasn't killed me or anyone else! 4) I wear cowboy boots pretty much all the time. 5) It doesn't matter what kind of mood I'm in, there is no way my Pug puppy can look at me seriously without making me laugh. 6) If I don't answer the phone, it might be because I'm busy mountain climbing, walking on the beach at sunset, jumping out of an airplane , or cliff diving. That is all very highly unlikely though. I'm probably just reading a good book and left my phone on vibrate in the other room.

Ok - and now for the latest - that kidney transplant I mentioned? I'm listed for another one, and I'm also having problems with anemia so if I disappear for a bit, I'm probably off having another blood transfusion.
