It is dark, still enough time to make it. The ground is wet with the heavy dew of early spring. The birds and insects are singing the songs of morning. Soon it will be to late. The sun is now just coming over the horizon. I can see it now, it is right there. Finally it presents itself...The thick fog covering it lets me know that there is still that morning chill. The surface rings that appear tell me that my search has only begun. The lake in the morning on a spring day. The canoe is loaded for its maiden voyage of 2008. All the essential are accounted for: Pole..check, bait..check, beer..check, cell phone..hell no! I left that annoying thing in the car. Today is going to be a good day. This is me! It nice to leave the stress and just chill on the lake. Life's Good.....
