I have just recently learned the difference between goals and priorities. I have never had a problem accomplishing anything that I have ever wanted to do, but it took me a while to realize that some things can wait while others cannot. It took me a little too long to grow up, to become a man. Now that I have, instead of running with what I had in hand, I must start over. I wish I would've listened and learned a little earlier. I've lost a few things that I'll never get back. Oh well. Live and learn, right? Figure out what is important in your life. Don't get caught off guard. Understand the difference between someone needing you and someone using you. And on the flip side of that, don't ever, ever take for granted the ones that really do love you. You can lose them so damn fast, not to mention hurt them in the process. Question everything and everyone. Don't discredit them, just question them. Be optimistic. Spend time alone. Hug a proverbial tree. Get lost in a 5 disc rotation. Pray to something, it doesn't matter what. Sit back and watch the wheels go 'round. And whenever you have a spare moment, look up at the sky.
