The only thing I'm going to judge you on is your ability to own up to whoever it is you are, good or bad. I don't look for specific physical or personality traits. It's more of an overall thing. If, as a whole, you are a complicated and interesting person, it's gonna make me want to hang around.I think the world is an essentially neutral place but that the people in it consider the baser human instincts to be negative. I don't necessarily believe in a conscience. I don't believe that when you cheat on someone it is the act of cheating on them that makes you feel guilt. I believe rather, that it is the possibility of getting caught that makes your palms sweat. I think guilt is a manifestation of our fear of dis-acceptance and nothing more. I think that if we didn't give a damn whether or not the world saw us a certain way, we wouldn't give a damn about controlling our baser instincts to eat, sleep and copulate.That being said, we as a society have created these expectations of what defines success and comfort. Of what it means to look out for your future, what it means to feel secure. And because none of us have grown up with the wolves, societal imperatives are paramount in our thinking. Anyone who denies the feeling of the need to find a partner, the contention that unless one is a couple, life is somehow lacking in meaning, is either lying or dense.Personally, I'm emotionally stunted and as much as I hope for a joining of the emotional and physical worlds at some later date, for now, I am content getting emotional, even romantic affections out of specific long term friends and I'm only really on here to look for the physical aspects of "lovin.'"
