| First a little background on my problem...while i was looking for a place for me and my daughter to live my daughter stayed with my mom. My mom allowed her to spend weekends with her boyfriend and she ended up pregnant. The laws in Illinois state that once a girl is 12 she can make her own medical decisions if she becomes pregnant. My daughter has decided she is keeping her baby so we have no choice but to go along with her on the decision. I believe an education is the most important goal for any teenager to have in todays world so i have made an agreement with her...if she stays in school i will raise the baby until she finishes school and gets settled in a career. I realize i will probably have this child a large majority of its life. My question is do you all think I did the right thing? |
