  • WMassM413 END THE R WORD .. Taking a break from my usual self-serving, self-explanatory status to make a plea. Especially this week (World Down Syndrome Awareness Week) and in particular today, DS Awareness Day, if you see something, please say something. There are a fair number of people on this site who think nothing of using the R word or the derivative term "fu-tard." Especially when using the latter, people think it's "no big deal," but it is because of the etymology. Just ... please think about gently reminding your friends/fans/acquaintances/etc. how hurtful it is.
