Interests
I like what I like and I don't care who thinks what about it--its what makes me, ME. =P
My interests include: Good friends, good music, good games and above all else - my kids. Most of the time they're the only reason I even get up out of bed every morning.
My hobby, though.. is gaming. Its just my thing. I love online gaming. I've met so many cool people playing games online. I can't believe I spend most of my gaming time playing a game from a series I'd always sworn to hate, too. lol (I never really cared for any other Final Fantasy games). FFXI Online is just incredible. Its games like this and the experiences they offer online with other gamers *worldwide* is reason enough to feel sorry for people who still have the insane notion that video games are just for kids. Pfft. That shit pisses me off to no end. But hey, its their loss. =P
The first game I ever really spent hours and hours playing was Asteroids. No telling how many hours I spent playing that game on my good ol' Atari 2600.

When it comes to music, I like mainly the louder, heavier, more aggressive stuff.. ALL THAT REMAINS is my new love - just got into this band recently thanks to Guitar Hero II. Their CD "The Fall of Ideals" is amazing. Other favorites: Chimaira, Machine Head, Living Sacrifice, Demon Hunter, Mudvayne, Fear Factory, Zao, some Tool, Mushroomhead, Otep, RATM, HED p.e., Static-X, Killswitch Engage, Lamb of God, Kittie, Pantera, Damageplan, Slipknot, Hatebreed, older Deftones, Stonesour, Cold, A Perfect Circle, older Staind, Chevelle, Stonefly, Sepultura, Skinlab, Flaw, some NIN, etc. etc. There's WAY too many I like to be able to list them all here.
But I also like some lighter stuff every now and then.. Mad Season, Ben Folds, Counting Crows, K's Choice, Tori Amos, older Jewel, etc. etc. Also, definitely gotta have some Fort Minor, Eminem & D12, Beastie Boys and Cypress Hill thrown in here and there. Another band well worth mentioning is the Bloodhound Gang. I love their music and crazy lyrics when I'm in the right mood. My favorite band of all time would definitely have to be Alice In Chains.

Video Games
I play Final Fantasy XI online quite a bit. You can find me as "Zil" on the Remora server. I also like Guitar Hero 1 and II, Socom 1, 2 & 3, GTA series, ESPN 2K5 (SCREW MADDEN!), Tony Hawk series, Resident Evil series, Early Zelda games, Mortal Kombat series, NFSU series, Devil May Cry series, Onimusha series, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill series, Fatal Frame series, Early Metroid games, and good old classics like Asteroids.
