Whitefire's blog: "Yada yada"

You know, things always seem to happen at the MOST inopportune time... I'd been noticing my water bill getting a bit larger each month, but had no idea why, until about 3 weeks ago when I noticed water coming from underneath my kitchen cabinets in the corner of the wall. Being that I'm broke as a joke, I call upon dear mom for help in getting a plumber to visit. The plumber finally gets here last week, only to notify me after ripping a hole in the wall in my garage (other side of the wall in my kitchen) to tell me I have had a leak there POSSIBLY as long as *10* years....OMFG. The good news is...the insurance adjuster (who was nice as could be) is going to try to get me a new kitchen out of it, as the bottom cabinets are ruined as well as the linoleum (which we were going to replace anyway)and the bottom 4 feet of wallboard all around. I'll find out in a few weeks when I get a check. SO, it's been a while since I have spent any length of time visiting with mah buds on CT or Fubar or whatever the hell this site is now...and it looks like I'll be trying to do a lot of the work myself. UGH.

I have been trying to keep my shit together....with working 2 jobs, 2 teenaged girls and a disabled hubby (oh yeah, and 3 dogs and 2 cats). I don't know how the hell people have energy to clean their homes after work and such! My life is topsy-turvy, and don't see an end in sight. If I make it on to CT, it's usually not for long, maybe enough to say hello to a few random people, post a few things, then off I go on another tangent. Thanks you all of you who read this, since you obviously care enough to look. Just know that I think about my CT friends a lot, and when I find some time in the VERY near future, I will be posting stuff, other than changing my music about once a week as I've been doing (I'm eclectic and spontaneous...ok probably borderline ADD as I can rarely listen to a song the whole way through anymore). Oh, that time in the VERY near future...should be within the next day or so as I took some vacation time to get stuff done around my house, and give me some *ME* time, dammit. Wish me luck!

Once I find my freakin digi cam I can post some more! BUT until then....the one I have up is all I have (that is any good!). Patience, grasshoppers.... EDIT: Ok I found my camera. Now I just need to get some sleep so I don't look like shit!
