Every year I have everyone over for Christmas Eve dinner. I live in a condo, and I try to cram in 20-25 people. The menu is always a "modern" version of the seven fishes feast. I always include Scallops wrapped in bacon, Shrimp, Crab cakes, Fried squid, etc..., but make everything as finger food. I always try to accommodate the kids who don't like seafood, so I'll have a buffet tray filled with pizza rolls or something...
My question is....
There are always a handful of "adults" that complain that there is nothing but seafood... Should I go out of my way to make them happy by making manicotti or or some sort of meat dish??? Or, should I just do what I always do, the way I like it??? |
