Today...... What can I say about today? I stayed up until 3am last night and got to work late today. I heard the clock go off at 5am, but I didn't get up for another two hours. I thought It was a dream. Then it was another day of give me, give me my lap top, I have work to do. It seems like everyday there is something else we have to do to the paper work for the lap tops. File them, scan them, sign them, scan them again, and then put them in a different file to be intered into a database for later use. Then, there is the issue of the software. Everybody wants their own copy of the Office suite. I always tell them,......... ENTERPRISE COPY FOR ONE, AND ONE FOR ALL.

I was in the office at nine in the morning yesterday. A few students came to see if we had their laptops ready to hand out. Due to the fact that we had to image all the laptops as clones for the college, it was taking us longer to get them ready. The Mac Book Pro's were easy to do. The Dell 620's needed a new wireless NIC for dual band access to our network server. That took 30mins to find out that the NIC is under the keyboard. 24+ Mac's, 34+ Dells, and a school full of angry second semester students yelling about why can't I just have my laptop. The office started to look like a backed up Post office (on a good day).
