I originally posted this mumm:
ok, I have a tough decision. I was offered a new position with a new company today, starting next monday. Now I just got a call from a state agency for a position that wants me to interview with them on monday. The hours are better and is more money working with the state. I called my new employer and told him had a doctor's appointment at the time of my interview with the state. Am I wrong, should I just take the bird in the hand or try to get the state job??
Second part to this question:
Should I have lied to my new employer that I had to take my mom into a doctor's appointment or should I have just been honest and told them that had the opportunity for a better job that I could interview on the same day? |
