I sit and wonder why people say the things they do, and never seem to follow through.
I sit and wonder why I am so empty inside, then I realize people never follow through.
You ask me why I am so closed down, and the walls are so solidly built, you tell me why, do you have guilt?
I never will blame you, for I am the one who put my faith in you, even though I knew you would never follow through.
So forgive me if the wall is high and tough to break, it is in place for my own sake.....
