WOLF
Ferocious and stealth, he makes not a sound.
His paws are silent as they touch the ground.
Stalking his prey ever so slightly
Although this task cannot be taken lightly.
He wisps through trees and under thick brush.
And even though he is calm, he's still in a rush.
The pups need feeding and he is on his last breath.
If he does not get food it will surely mean death.
It is night now and all is quiet
Except for a gunshot that causes a riot.
The wolf drops to his belly all the while stunted.
He was unknowing that the hunter became the hunted.
